A wild boar invaded a shopping mall in Takamatsu, injuring five people.

Around 6:50 pm on October 23rd, a 1.1m-long female wild boar appeared at Aeon Mall Takamatsu in Kozai Honmachi, Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture. It is said that he entered the outdoor goods store on the first floor from the entrance, and then bit the legs of customers and employees who were visiting the store.

A customer called 110 to report that a wild boar was roaming the first floor of the store. According to the Kagawa Prefectural Police Takamatsu Kita Police Station, a 14-year-old junior high school student who was shopping was hit by a wild boar and hit a fallen product shelf. His leg was bitten, and a police officer was also bitten on his hand, but both injuries were minor.
