[Event introduction: Hokkaido] 2018 Contest for nurturing forests and people

Effect

Evaluate and commend forest owners and organizations implementing tree education that practice appropriate forest maintenance in each region of Hokkaido and nurture excellent forest stands that can serve as models, and raise the awareness of Hokkaido residents towards improving forestry technology and forest development. Aim to raise awareness and promote participation.
