Therefore, various lures are used. Like raccoons, they tend to catch well with sweet treats and ripe fruit. Choose a location that is easy to patrol where you can see badger damage, and set it up on a horizontal surface as much as possible.

It is safer to avoid baits such as meat and fish, as cats and weasels can be caught by mistake.
